‘Tales of a Londoner’ is the 3rd Studio Album from Chainska Brassika, written during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 when the band faced the challenge of writing in isolation and creating music virtually.

‘Tales of a Londoner’ was recorded, produced, and mixed by Grippa Laybourne of the Hempolics, at South Street Studios. Chainska Brassika’s Trombonist, Lucas Petter was Assistant Producer with additional editing from band members, James Howell, Tom Keel and Toby Keel.

London, 22nd March 2022Tales of a Londoner’ is the 3rd Studio Album from Chainska Brassika, written during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 when the band faced the challenge of writing in isolation and creating music virtually. This unique situation, led to a concoction of musical ideas, which resulted in 10 tracks of varying style, genre, and attitude. The theme and inspiration for the album, is the capital city in which the band was born – London. The concept was to tell a multitude of stories from in and around London life.

‘Tales of a Londoner’ was recorded, produced, and mixed by Grippa Laybourne of the Hempolics, at South Street Studios. Chainska Brassika’s Trombonist, Lucas Petter was Assistant Producer with additional editing from band members, James Howell, Tom Keel and Toby Keel. The album was transposed onto two-inch tape reel by Prince Fatty and mastered in Canada by Jesse King ‘Dubmatix’.

Chainska Brassika were joined by rapper and fellow schoolmate, Femi aka ‘Helms’, featured on the track ‘Big Boss’. Also, featured on ‘Simple Things’ is distinguished actor Frank Harper of Lock Stock & Two Smokin’ Barrels and Bend It Like Beckham fame.

The album will be released on 25th March 2022, followed by Chainska Brassika’s album tour throughout the UK over 18 dates in May 2022. The band looks forward to dancing the night away with their loyal fans and new fans too. PRE-ORDER CDs + DIGITAL
