Our sync team is one of the most highly-respected in the business, with long-standing relationships across the music supervisor community worldwide. We pride ourselves in pitching the right music for each project, maximizing fees, and getting the best terms possible. The TSM creative services team looks for, and sets up, all the best opportunities for represented writers, with a strong emphasis on co-writes, work for hires, sampling, scoring, A&R direction, and more. For copyright administration, TSM has a deeply knowledgeable staff who excel in shaking out every penny owed and providing detailed and fully transparent royalty accounting.
Soundway PartnershipÂ
In 2021, TSM expanded its international footprint with a new strategic partnership and investment in legendary UK-based Soundway Records and Soundway Publishing.
TSM and Soundway work together on releases and in developing unique creative and synch licensing opportunities, placing music from Soundwayâs catalog and roster in major advertising, films and TV series, video games, and other media. The catalogue comprises the vast majority of Soundway Recordsâ repertoire in addition to other killer young labels, and talented writers and composers.
Soundway Records, which was founded in 2002 by English DJ and collector Miles Cleret, is renowned internationally for its critically-acclaimed rare compilations, and LP re-issues of the most exciting sounds around the globe. From its first release âGhana Sounds: Afrobeat, Funk & Fusion in â70s Ghana,â to its most recent âRitmo Fantasia: Balearic Spanish Synth-Pop, Boogie and House (1982-1992)â compilation, Soundway has specialized in spotlighting and discovering deep classics from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Panama, French Caribbean, Colombia, Brazil, Thailand, South Africa, and many other countries.
