Sentric, part of Believe, one of the world’s leading digital music companies, has signed an administration agreement, as well as forming a creative joint venture with Cooking Vinyl Publishing.
Cooking Vinyl Publishing is a leading independent, full-service music publisher based in London. The company represents songwriters worldwide, across all genres, with a focus on creative development and sync licensing.
Its roster includes the likes of Avelino, Shed Seven, July Jones, The Waterboys, Her’s, Skerryvore, The Rifles, Isobel Campbel and The Orb; and songwriters such as Jacob Attwooll, Robbie Jay and Matty Benbrook.
With approximately 8000 titles, the company’s catalogue includes songs released by artists such as Paolo Nutini, Dido, Imanbek, TXT, Aitch, Flawes, BTS, Coldabank, NCT 127, NCT Dream, B Young, Cadet, Wretch 32, Jack Savoretti and Internet Money.
This partnership with Sentric marks a significant new direction for Cooking Vinyl, which to date has operated via a network of sub-publishing agreements globally.
The administration agreement means that Cooking Vinyl Publishing’s clients will benefit from Sentric’s royalties infrastructure and expertise, more direct, quarterly accounting, and the company’s respected sync team.
Meanwhile, the co-publishing joint venture between Sentric and Cooking Vinyl Publishing will encompass signings, creative, funding, sync, and more.
